Winter Joys

This Chanukah has proved to be very busy, with only 2 out of the 5 nights when most of us were home for the evening… Between Festigal and Peter Pan we have two busy nights and a few busy afternoons! Plus today is Bella’s birthday, and she is going out, so the house is quiet and I’m sitting on our terrace, wearing my Aran sweater and enjoying a cup of good tea (with milk and brown sugar), while I blog under the stars. The chanukiyah behind me is still burning–those awesome candles our friends bought in Hungary the day after the Day of the Dad for literally pennies burn for up to 6 hours!

Oh well, this was supposed to be a lot longer, but I got distracted by kids actually coming home from Peter Pan, a late dinner and realizing I kind of wish Fringe hadn’t been renewed for the 5th season.

    Boldogat Bellának! 🙂
Az előbb én is kilógtam az ablakba, hátha látok csillagokat, mert mára valami meteoritrajt ígértek, sok-sok hullócsillaggal, de nem látom az eget.
Hull a hó, sűrű apró kis pelyhekben…
Olyan fura bele gondolni, hogy egy léleknyire, de mégis a világ túloldalán te egy csillagos, kellemes hőfokú éjszakát élsz most épp át… 🙂
