Lazy Shabbat Rambling

Shabbat Shalom!

Wow. This was a busy week when nothing really happened. It was just everyday things happening all at once. It was just a week where I didn’t even have time to watch Hell’s Kitchen on Wednesday! Mentioning Hell’s Kitchen, it was Southern cuisine challenge on Monday, which I’m just now watching. Coincidentally I made my first ever grits for breakfast. I think it was the last one as well.

Last night we watched the opening ceremonies, and we had a blast putting little flags on the map for every country that we saw represented… till Thailand where it seems the last person awake (me) fell asleep. I really liked this year’s opening ceremonies, and yes, I liked the show better than Beijing.

I watched some of the swimming trials on Hungarian TV this morning. Grr at László Cseh not making the finals. Grr. Oh by the way, I didn’t wake up till after Kevin and the kids got home from synagogue today. It was a much needed long sleep after battling insomnia for two weeks. It’s rare that I don’t wake up when Kevin gets up. Even rarer that I don’t wake up when the room is bathing in light. But it was awesome to just sleep till I woke up just because I was well rested.

I keep wondering where all that food that they don’t serve goes? I mean an overcooked Wellington is still edible, and people would still pay to get some of it. Or if not pay, still would be grateful to eat it. You know what I mean?

So you can see it’s a lazy Shabbat for me. A super lazy Saturday, enjoying ice cold coke with lemon slices, ice cream, and the Olympics.

Nem nyírtam ki, csak átlátszóvá tettem, ugyanis mentalista vagyok, ez a legújabb hobbim… 😛
