….cooking is good…

  • Chick-fil-gay is oh so yummy. We tried it. It is yummy.
  • There are millions of people who watch violent movies and don’t go on killing sprees.
  • Just wanting to point out that Hungary, that has strict gun laws, had half the intentional murder rate per capita at the highest than the US at its lowest. Other countries with even stricter laws have even fewer intentional murders. And even fewer mass shootings. If you don’t have access to firearms, it makes it hard to shoot people.
  • My evil step-sister gave my kids a drum set to my kids as a gift.
  • I’m out of M&M’s.

If I lived near you, I’d bring you some M&M’s!
One of my SIL’s gave my kids a band-set when they were preschoolers….drum, cymbals, harmonica, maracas, bells, etc. I donated the band-set to a preschool. The school said, “Oh, thank you….you are so kind!” I said, “No, I’m not. I’m just getting this outa’ noise my house!” 😉 😀
    I don’t have a Chick-fil-a near me, but when I did, I didn’t frequent them.
And thanks for the vid! I will try the happy sand! (“Giant buns” made me laugh out loud!)
    HUGS!

She is so so funny! My American former Eagle Scout demanded we try making the chick-fil-gay sandwiches, and man, were they good! She is also so funny.

Good idea on the drum set…

  2. There are millions of people with guns who don’t go on killing sprees, too. My favorite response to that horrific event, however, was on FB and went something like this: “It is a shame it is so much easier to acquire a weapon than it is to acquire mental health care.” Since I have spent the last three years desperately trying to acquire the mental health care, I say “Amen!” to that!

I’ve never had a “real” Chik-fil-ay. Is the Chick-fil-gay going to be a hit with people who don’t know the original? I’m burdened by boys who PREFER – yes, PREFER – grilled rather than crispy chicken. That’s perfectly disgusting….what a guilt trip they lay – and without even trying to.

Oh my, a good grilled chicken sanmdwich beats any fried chicken sandwich! I used to really like chick-fil-ay sandwiches, but haven’t had any for several years. These ones are simply good!

  3. Also, in the spirit of openness…. My dad was a gunsmith on the side, and I grew up with guns in the house. For him they were a work of art; he made gorgeous stocks with inlays. Later he got interested in muzzle loaders and made at least one of those. I got to earn a few dollars loading shotgun shells for his friends, and enjoyed learning to make bullets for the muzzle loader (historian that I am). We had strong and firm safety rules which not even my wild-hare brother ever considered breaking. We had plenty of opportunities to shoot at the range, or up in the mountains, if we desired it. There was not a thing of violence about it. Not a thing. In fact, in this gun-owning household I became pretty much a pacifist.
