The Best Way to Ruin Your Friday is to Realize it's Only Tuesday

Tuesday is my least favourite day of the week. For some odd reason Tuesdays make me sad, tired, impatient. They don’t even give that mid-week boost that Wednesdays elsewhere do: I know that theer’s still more of the week than what’s behind us.

Tuesday is also a night at Uni, and I am frustrated with  my language skills… or the lack thereof. So it’s not only “oh my gosh the weekend is far away”, it’s also “Oh my gosh how can I be so stupid?”

Tuesday, however, is burger night! So there is something good about Tuesdays after all…

I enjoyed your comment on D’s blog! Funny….I hate getting discombobulated like that.

Personally, I like Tuesdays as they are “easy”….I go to work, but there are no expectations other than those I make for myself.

One of my friends created a FB group “I hate Tuesday, because they are worse than Mondays”. I looked, and the memebers are mostly her colleagues. They have a meeting on Tuesdays that requires a lot of prep work.

I hate Tuesdays too! Mondays still feel a bit like the weekend, but on Tuesday, the weekend is definitely over and the next one is still so far away! I like Wednesdays, because then we’re half-way there. 🙂
However, I love my work, so I don’t really mind working.

I used to love Wednesdays. We always had a chocolate bar after lunch break on Wednesday, to celebrate the hafway point to the weekend. With the week beginning on Sunday here, Tuesday would be the mid-week point, but since some of us are on a 6-day work schedule–like almost all schools, many businesses, etc–Tuesday is just the day when we are already tired when we get up. 😀
