Relaxing

From a comment from Bozรณt I realized that I’m not writing here when I’m sick or when I’m having a lot of fun. So when I didn’t update for several days she was wondering if everything was okay.

I’m very happy to report that everythings is okay. More than okay. I’m having a great time. I am doing full time relaxation: I eat, drink, sleep, make love and read a lot a lot. ๐Ÿ™‚ I am pretty much caught up on the required reading for my classes, and I’m almost done with the essays I have to write to make up for missing the classes. I already emailed one to one of my teachers and got a good grade on it. It’s a great feeling that I can do this.

Kevin makes me do PT twice a day at the hotel gym or hotel pool. It is not my favourite part of the day, but it’s neccessary. The amount of food I put into my body now turns into muscle instead of fat, and the change is actually visible. Yesterday my back/body braces had to be adjusted. ๐Ÿ˜€ I also had my first post-hospitalization check up and things look great. I get to wear the soft brace for low activity times, and I love it. It dries fast. It matches my silly band aids over my trach hole. It’s great to know that soon enough I’ll be back to “normal”.

I had the opportunity to go to two awesome concerts and see several films while just enjoying life. Every few days a few of our kids come see us, have a meal with us and just hang out. It’s great for them, because they get to spend more small group/individual time with us that is often hard to arrange at home. There are many of us at home… and only a few of them come at a time here. It’s lovely.

Also, yesterday I knocked my virgin mojito (lemonade with mint levaes) over… all over my phone. BUT my beloved little phone is really a sweet phone (quite literally now) and it still works!

Now back to listening to Mr. Skaat, munching on celery sticks, and enjoying the sunshine.

I’m really lucky I have my private PT! Having him always available makes life so much easier for me.
