The Land of In Between

You know that feeling when you already took custody of your newly adopted child, but you are not home yet? That feeling of being in between? It usually lasts a few days busy with embassy appointments. In our case it has been going on for two months now. We are in the land of In Between. Two months, when we are waiting for paperwork to be done, so my children can come home. Two months, when my children are separated. Two months, when there is no feeling of permanency at all. 
It ism, finally, getting close to the end. I’m heading back Hungary this evening, and Monday morning I’ll fly to Cork with my boys. We are almost home. Less than a week left….
